Best Romantic Restaurants in Shawnee

My ultimate test for a restaurant is if it randomly pops in my head weeks later as I relish the memory of the meal & experience. Wandering Vine at The Castle meets that test. I am still thinking about the savory bone-in pork chop with demi-glace sauce, the decadent chestnut mushrooms, and the perfectly intense cocoa of the layered chocolate cake. I'm not going to lie, a part of me anticipates huge disappointment for every sad attempt of pork chops or chocolate cake from any other restaurant here after until I can return. Congratulations to the chef, owner and staff for creating and sharing a truly remarkable dining experience at The Castle!

The steak and scallops were outstanding. The creme brule custard was too sweet.. Service was outstanding. Looking forward to going again soon!

Nick was an excellent server. Very good explanations and excellent pairings. His recommendations were spot on. Loved it!

Meg and Matt were friendly and accommodating-TJ was a great server. The food was delicious. I was a little disappointed in the bruschetta because it was not the same as it had been in past but the rest of the food was FABULOUS! We look forward to going back again.

Over all a very pleasant dining experience. Good food, good service and reasonable prices. We highly recommend Houlihan's.
