The sweet and spicy shrimp and vegetables rounded out the meal enjoyed family style. But can’t say enough about our waiter and his hospitality. Will be back for sure.More infoTAO Asian Bistro - Las VegasPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• The Venetian and Palazzo•4.7
- DDouglasLas Vegas •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe really enjoyed our supper. We had waited quite a while to try Hugo's and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely excellent. Our waiter, Carlos, was very entertaining and very nice. The overall experience with the restaurant was very good with one glaring exception. It was loud in there – at least louder than I thought it would be but I guess that is because it's a pretty confined space. Also, we're there for Christmas night supper and of course dressed up like they indicate is required. But across from us is a table of rednecks in T-shirts and football jerseys all talking so loud like they were sitting at a bar table at PT's.. I was somewhat disappointed because I thought that it was supposed to be "business attire" and upscale. I know the couple at the table beside us felt the same way. You get all dressed to go to a "fancy restaurant" and you're seated next to drunk loudmouths who are dressed like they are at the "Vegas vacation $2.99 buffet". One of the pumpkins thought he was at a "all you can eat complementary bread eating contest". So I think they need to start enforcing the dress code if they're going to have one and then maybe go over to a tables and ask if they could keep the volume down because there's other people trying to enjoy a romantic or special dinner at a very expensive restaurant. I am all four people having fun but this wasn't a Chuck E. Cheese More infoHugo's Cellar - Four QueensPrice: Very Expensive• Continental• Four Queens Hotel & Casino•4.8
- TTeresaLas Vegas •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI ate dinner on Christmas at Delmonico Steakhouse. The service was outstanding. My server went out of her way to make sure my meal was perfect. Unfortunately it was not but I can't fault her for not trying. I ordered from the Christmas special menu. I had the Chestnut soup with clotted cream which was perfect. I than ordered the prime rib with the twice baked potato for the entree. That was a mistake. The size was 14 ounces which I thought was not too big for me. It was the way it was served that was part of the problem. The prime rib arrived on a plate with the meat in the center surrounded by a thick circle of fat. That did not look appetizing to me. Also, there was no horseradish or au jus. Who ever heard of prime rib without horseradish or au jus? The prime rib was also lukewarm. When my server came by I did ask for horseradish and told her the temperature was not good. She took the plate back to reheat the prime rib and brought out the horseradish. Even after all that, it was still far from perfect. Some of the meat was grisly which made it inedible. I only ended up eating about half of the prime rib. The twice baked potato was good as was the popovers. I don't understand why the restaurant would go through the trouble of creating a special menu and than serving a mediocre entree.More infoDelmonico SteakhousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• The Venetian and Palazzo•4.8
- CCynthiaLas Vegas •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoReservation was for Christmas Eve and it was very delightful. They presented a smaller menu but enough variety to easily make choices. We shared their charcuterie board which was excellent. I asked for a particular wine which they didn’t have, but the server was knowledgeable and suggested an equal substitute. For main entree, I had Dover Sole. Nice presentation and although a little lemony, it was still delicious. This is a beautiful restaurant, especially during the day when you can enjoy the view of the lake. Highly recommend!More infoMarche BacchusPrice: Expensive• French• Desert Shores•4.4
