While it may seem like we are a normal restaurant, The Pearl is primarily a place of learning for our culinary students. Their education is our priority and we do our best, with limited resources, to provide an excellent dining experience for our guests. During a pandemic it is difficult to operate at maximum efficiency and capacity. We have very limited seating, and we need extra time to carefully prepare our kitchen and dining area for your safety.     Excellent lunch. Creative prix fixe menu that exceeded my already high expectations for The Pearl. Surprise addition of a champagne-blood orange sorbet amuse bouche raised the bar even higher. The student staff served the almost-full dining room with grace and elan. I can't wait for my next opportunity to dine there.

    My Ohana and I had dinner to celebrate a birthday and it was great! Reservation was easy to do and when I needed to change the time, they had no issue doing so. Service was great, everyone worked together to serve the people. Food was delicious and to me the price was greatly reasonable. Food came out at a timely matter and the manager who I did not get his name, was really great! He came out to check on everyone, bussing tables, refreshing water/beverages and making us smile and laugh. He showed us his cool trick with flipping out drink without spilling it! That was cool. Mahalo nui!
