We are excited for your visit, and welcome you to experience our beautiful outdoor dining room in Newport Beach. That being said we are outdoors and encourage all guest to dress appropriate to the season. We have added a beautiful heated covered awning for the winter months.     It was an amazing time, even for our toddler. The chef was so interactive with our little one through the window and provided dough, sauce, and cheese to make his own pizza. It can be challenging to dine with little ones, but the entire staff engaged with our child and they had a blast thanks to the friendly staff. Food was amazing as usual - it is the best pizza you’ll have in California. Pasta was cooked to perfection as well. I look forward to visiting again with our little one.

    Hostess named Sam acknowledged us as soon as we walked in out of the pouring rain. She got us seated earlier than I expected and she was friendly. The rest was amazing, but just the small things entering for the first time mean a lot.

    Ocean 48 has a lot of hype, so I went in with high expectations--and they were far exceeded, thanks to the incredible service. Our waiter, Adam, truly made the experience exceptional (if you're making a reservation and appreciate top-tier service, be sure to request him). We were celebrating my father's birthday, and as someone who has dined at plenty of steakhouses, he was absolutely blown away. Adam's recommendations were spot-on, and every dish was phenomenal. The filet and 45-day aged Ribeye were perfectly cooked, and the wine pairing elevated the meal even further. It was an unforgettable evening, and my father hasn't stopped raving about how incredible everything was--especially Adam's service, which took the experience to the next level. Ocean 48 delivered in every way, and we'll definitely be back!

    I made reservations. I chose this restaurant because none of my guests had eaten here before and to celebrate a friend's 91st birthday. for a friend. When I made the reservations I requested a table overlooking the nursery. There was no wait when we arrived. They accommodated us with a table I requested. The overall service was excellent. The waitress, Becca was pleasant, knowledgeable about the menu, and very attentive. She came back several times during our lunch to make sure everything was okay and to see if we needed anything. Everyone raved about the food. Three or us ordered the tuna sandwich and one ordered the burger. It was all excellent. Remembering we were there to celebrate a birthday, Becca brought out a complimentary dessert with a candle. The whole experience for me and my guests couldn't have been better. We will definitely be returning and bringing more friends.
