Best Romantic Restaurants in New Tampa

We had a great Christmas meal. Three of us enjoyed an appetizer, the 1905 tableside salad, and entrees. Two had fish - both were delicious. The only disappointment was the special Christmas dinner pork meal, which was dry and barely lukewarm as if it had been sitting waiting for the others. The service was stellar - friendly, informative, knowledgeable, timely, but allowed us to enjoy the experience over a period of time without feeling rushed even though the place was jam packed.

We had a wonderful dining experience this evening at Sacred Pepper. Busy evening and we were seated in the Wine Room which is just off to the right of the Hostess station. Big comfy chairs and a roomy environment. The noise level was low considering this room is just before the lounge area when a duo was performing. The service was excellent our waiter was friendly, very pleasant, attentive but yet not intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious from appetizer to dessert. Our favorite cocktails were crafted very well with a water glass that was never empty.

Our family truly enjoyed our dining experience on Christmas Eve. The food was delicious and the wait staff were polite, attentive, and friendly. The piccata grouper melted in my mouth, the lamb chops were tender, and the sushi was incredibly fresh and tasty. Definitely will be coming back.

First time dining and I would return. Food was great, ambiance was good too. It was a great Christmas dinner! We’re curious as to what their regular menu is since they mentioned that the menu changed for the holidays. So definitely planning in returning.

This is one of the best sushi experiences we've had in a long time. We've had sushi delivered from Umu before and ate outside once but this was the first time eating inside and ordering a variety of sushi items. Normally when I eat sushi these days, my craving is satisfied and I'm good for a few months. The sushi at Umu was SO fresh and SO delicious I can't stop thinking about it and wanting it again. The fatty tuna and yellow tail hamachi is mouth watering! I ordered a special hand roll and it was so full of sushi I could barely pick it up. One of us ordered the seabass and it too was delicious. The highlight though was The Lobster. Its a good size lobster tail tempura fried in a roll AND 4 large pieces of tempura fried lobster meat. It was outstanding and worth every penny. The food is a tad high priced for the area but you can't really put a price tag on super fresh sushi. We will absolutely be back and soon!
