I was a bit of a fussy guest! I didn’t like the first table I was offered and asked for a better one which I got ( my only complaint about the whole experience is that my friend and I shouldn’t have been seated next to a group of men spilling over into our space in the first place) After moving everything was perfect. I had booked using the wrong offer code but the manager and staff couldn’t have been more helpful in changing my booking around to honour the half price bottle of wine offer. Alex our waiter was lovely and attentive, as was everyone else we came into contact with. The 1917 menu was great value, and the signature shepherds pie one of the best I’ve tasted. Alex’s endorsement of the quality of the red wine gravy was spot on! Thank you.

Brilliant lunch. Lovely service and the food was great. Particularly recommend the bread basket and shredded cauliflower salad. Chocolate cheesecake to finish was divine

Oversized statues of Medusa and Pegasus, coupled with dramatic plasterwork cascading from the ceiling, create a truly unique and captivating atmosphere. The background music, expertly curated by a DJ, is subtle and sophisticated, allowing for easy conversation. The bar is perfectly illuminated for photo opportunities, and every detail of the restaurant's design is simply stunning. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. A welcoming doorman was followed by attentive staff who graciously accepted our coats and escorted us to our table. Throughout the evening, we were expertly attended to, ensuring every need was anticipated. The food was a masterpiece. The beet salad was a symphony of flavors, while the pan-seared short rib was cooked to perfection. And the dessert? The pan-fried cookie with ice cream was an absolute indulgence, gooey and delicious. The wine selection was extensive and impressive, with knowledgeable sommeliers providing invaluable guidance. Bacchanalia is more than just a restaurant; it's an unforgettable sensory experience.

This restaurant, staff and food was beyond our expectations. We decided on the tasting menu with the classic wine pairing. Every dish and wine was wonderful. The staff was considerate, accommodating and willing to make our evening at their restaurant memorable. If you have the opportunity to have dinner in London, this would be an unforgettable evening.
