Mario Lohninger hat mit seinem neuen Lokal den Begriff des „Gasthauses“ neu belebt und zeitgemäß interpretiert. Rundum herrscht eine entspannte und ungezwungene Atmosphäre. Die Karte bietet neben Klassikern wie dem Wiener Schnitzel, Backhendl & Zwiebelrostbraten auch Kärntner Schlutzkrapfen, Bergheufilet und Palatschinken. An die Zeiten der österreichisch-ungarischen Monarchie erinnern Ochsenbackerlgulasch und Kaiserschmarrn, außerdem gibt es fabelhafte Fischgerichte wie ein Black Cod oder geangelten Seewolf. Everything about the restaurant was great. My only issue was one of our diners has celiac. We were told that the chef also has celiac so we thought there should not be any issues cross contamination. However, when they brought the gluten-free bread it happened to be on the same plate touching the non-gluten-free bread. That is an absolute no no. Otherwise the food was outstanding.
