When visiting the restaurant, patrons descend 18 feet underground in a canopied glass elevator, accessed from street level, for a culinary experience unlike any other.     Lindsey was our waitress and she was very attentive, polite and answered every single question we had. The food, oh my mercy the food…. Soooo good. We left feeling full and satisfied. The tuna was fresh and the cucumber martini went very well with it. The establishment does enforce dress code which we didn’t hate- the enforcement ensured a classic, elegant dining experience. We sat at the bar after dinner and noted the hostess stand offered dinner jackets to guests who showed up without the proper attire

    We had a wonderful time start to finish! From the moment we pulled in to valet, you could tell that service was their priority. Winter and Rome were fantastic and so helpful, couldn’t have asked for better! The food was top tier, especially the pasta. I am gluten free and being able to order pasta that is house-made and INCREDIBLY delicious was a highlight for me. Not to mention, every item I ordered came out as a gluten free option without me ever having to ask. Spectacular experience and will definitely go again!

    Brian was great! Food was all perfect- we had filet mignon  lobster mac tater tots tiramisu cheesecake and sweet potato fries. Everything was very good. Sadly the beef Wellington is wrapped in prosciutto, which was a bit disappointing as we don’t eat pork- However its our fault for not checking!! Drinks were good and strong as well. Great view and the pianist coupled with the dim lighting made for a perfect romantic ambiance . Only complaint would be that they aren’t very strict with their dress-code- saw someone wearing lululemon leggings and sneakers which kind of threw me off. Feel like it cheapens the place. But overall very great experience .

    Such a fun experience with my new grand baby and family. Food and service was perfect. I had not been there for dinner in a long time and have forgotten how delicious the food is there. Short ribs and salmon were amazing. My family members had the chicken and said it was the best they had ever had. Thanks mercat for the perfect ending to our Christmas holiday.

    Overall super solid and will return. Ken was our waiter, and he (and the rest of the staff) were really great. Thoughts on what we had: ▪️MANGO MEZCALRITA: expensive smoky orange juice ▪️ LUCA PARETTI PROSECCO: really good ▪️ PRETZEL BREAD: super cute and yummy ▪️ TUNA TARTARE: solid and would order again ▪️ CATCH ROLL: loved ▪️ FILET SKEWER: lots of good flavor, might get again ▪️ MEDITERRANEAN BRANZINO: didn’t finish and wouldn’t order again but probably personal taste here. The lemon was strong in the rice and the butter was def present with the fish ▪️ TRUFFLE MUSHROOM SPAGHETTI: super yummy, friend said shrimp didn’t add to the dish
