Best Romantic Restaurants in Hampden

Chose the Sunday night, 3-course special. The food was excellent with good choices (although bleu cheese shows up in three different menu items and for someone who doesn’t enjoy bleu cheese, it did cut down the options). Service was excellent and we didn’t feel slighted with service even though we were choosing the “economy” dinner option.

Our Valentines day dinner was excellent! We enjoyed everything about it. Starting with the valet service, then the greetings at the door. We had truffle popcorn on the table as we decided on our order. A delicious bread basket with these wonderful soft pretzels were placed with the soups and salads. Our meals were in incredible. We love the crab cake, garlic mashed potatoes and Chilean sea bass. We always return for it and it never misses. Our server Lisa attended all of our needs with perfection. It was a beautiful night.

We had such a lovely anniversary dinner at Eddie V‘s. The service was impeccable. The food was very good although one of my steak medallions was overcooked, the music from the live band in the bar which we were hearing over the speakers was wonderful music. We really think we will go back and have dinner in the bar some evening and listen to the live music.

We went to Osteria for their Valentine's Day menu and the chef showcased a lot of new dishes, such as the oysters, risotto, bucatini plus a new pork cheek protein. Every dish was amazing but the standout was definitely the oysters. These were West Coast oysters from a company run by two brothers in Washington and they were served topped with caviar. My wife and I both said they were the best oysters we've ever had. I hope these are brought back again at some point. Overall, dining at Osteria is top notch and we've never had a bad meal nor experience here and can't recommend the restaurant enough.

We love Venice! Super thrilled they extended the bar area so we could enjoy a drink while we waited for our table. The manager and staff are incredibly friendly. The food is the best Italian food in the metro area. We have been enjoying the food and ambiance for 15 years or more and are never disappointed!!
