Probably the best team I’ve ever seen at a restaurant. Food was ok. I ordered filet Oscar and I think there was about a tablespoon of crab on the meat, and the bearnase sauce overwhelmed most other items on the plate. Had breakfast at McKay's Cottage on Thursday where I ordered the same meal as I did at Roam -- Eggs Benedict, no Canadian bacon, swapped the English muffing for a biscuit, both came with a side of crispy fried potatoes. On a scale of 1 to 10, McKay's version was 4.5 versus Roam's 10. Roam is less expensive too! Service was excellent (thank you, Lily!). Only downside was that it was drafty every time someone opened the door to go in or out. And the bacon wrapped filet- it was one of the best steaks we have had in Bend in a while (even the high end steak houses) the service was wonderful- attention to deltail, friendly and knowledgeable.
