Best Romantic Restaurants in Hutto

Went out for a planned date night and this was the perfect spot! Quiet and low lighting place for a dinner of two on a date night. Our server was amazing and the staff in general were a delight. Highly recommend trying out Cork and Barrel.

We understood…It was a Saturday night during the holiday season and, even though we had a reservation, we were asked to wait five to ten minutes to be seated. Just as we were starting to wonder if they had forgotten about us, the hostess apologized and offered to buy us a glass of champagne “on the house.” We were guided to a private cocktail area with four seats and joined another couple, who were also waiting, and chatted while waiting to be seated; a lovely gesture and one you don’t experience very often! Even though the restaurant was very busy, our waiter, Roland, made us feel as if we were his only guests. Noticing we still had champagne to finish, he held off opening our wine and paced the courses slowly, just as we had asked. What can we say? We love to share the arugula and fig pizza and wood roasted chicken. Maybe next time, we’ll try something new at our favorite Georgetown restaurant!

The food is amazing! (the iced tea is extra good) The service is also amazing! It was difficult to hear my friend across the table though, because there don’t appear to be any sound absorbing surfaces—everything is hard and/or shiny. But we enjoyed our food immensely and actually texted and sent links to each other across our 18” distance instead of chatting. 🤭

Great weather on the rooftop! Had a great time with drinks, snacks and good music and company.
