- DDanielHouston •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe really dug the vibe. The interior is really stylish. The only thing we thought that was lacking was our particular server’s service. When I requested a second cocktail and asked him to surprise me with something vodka based, he brought a “French 76”, made with vodka instead of gin. Notwithstanding whether or not such a drink exists vis a vis the known “French 75” drink, he should have known that I had JUST finished a French 75, in part because I had the same gin style glass on my table. This is not service I would expect from a Michelin level restaurant (I know this one did not get one, but maybe you are gunning for it), many of which me and my wife have been too, including multiple Three Star restaurants! The waiter should be more aware as being delivered such a drink might be thought of as being lazy or dismissive towards the diner. My wife and I are well prepared to pay large amounts for a top notch dinner as well, and we are more likely to do so when a restaurant succeeds in ALL categories.More infoThe Marigold ClubPrice: Very Expensive• French• Montrose•4.6

The service was excellent and was made even more special by Edgar. We’re happy we chose to celebrate our 7th anniversary here. The establishment is truly deserving of its michelin star.More infoBCN Taste & TraditionPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Southeast Houston•4.9
- KPKPMCvipHouston •14 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI dined at March in September 2024, before it had received one Michelin star, with my daughter, and yesterday with my parents. Compared to two months ago, the food and presentation was equally outstanding, but the service was slower, not as fluid, and the ambience was greatly diminished due to the very high noise level. For example, in the lounge, we were served still and sparkling water, finished drinking that before our cocktail of vermouth was served, and finished drinking that before the amuse bouche was served. In the dining room, the noise level was so loud that it was difficult to hear our waiters and waitresses describe the food and the wines, even though they were standing right at our table, and it was impossible for my parents, even with hearing aids, to hear what our servers were telling us. - RRichHouston •8 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWhen we arrived at peak dinner hour (6:30) the dining are was nearly full and there were two goups (3 and 8) next to eachother and competing to talk above the other. The room is acoustically live and this was quite annoying. When the larger group left everything settled down to a very comfortable level. The food was excellent, especially the cassoulet special and the beef short rib! Service was good, especially the presentation of the cassoulet by chef Greg and his follow up visit with our table. - KKaiWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoOur dinner at Drake’s was just what we needed for a date night and a special time together for my boyfriends birthday. I appreciate the grace as we were running late and the team was accommodating and kind, even though we were behind schedule and closing was at 10p. Thank you for the hospitality. A little bit of kindness goes very long way.More infoDrake's Hollywood - HoustonPrice: Very Expensive• American• Montrose•4.6
