So you ask why Wanda Byob? Wanda Pollyana Boos/Lipot was my Mother and my inspiration to become a Chef. Wanda was an amazing cook who actually had some serious training in her country of Trinidad and Tobago. In fact, one of my most prized mementos is my mother's... her cooking manual from Naparima Girls High School in Trinidad. What started as my mother's inspiration many years ago has turned into a career that I love and am very proud of. So here I am, my mother's son, who has spent 38 years in the kitchen, perfecting my craft. I now want to share what I've learned with all of you in a place I can call my own.With the help of my wonderfully supportive wife, Gilda and my wonderful family behind me, I look forward to what's to come.     There is no stone unturned regarding this dining experience. The food is so far above what Italian food is thought to be here but rather how it actually is in Italy. Chef Kevin is consistently presenting innovative dishes, such as the suckling pig I had tonight. There is nothing ordinary about dining here, even if you’ve been multiple times. I am constantly surprised and amazed about all the time, effort and care that goes n each and every dish!

    Pure dining experience at Sano by Michael Scipione!! Each dish was exquisitely done. Had the citrus scallops with pumpkin puree as appetizer. It was pure heaven. Hubby had veal meatball which was so moist & beyond delicious!! All our selections were outstanding….5 stars for sure!! Ebony was hands down the best waitress ever!! Michael is welcoming & personal. Atmosphere was moody & sophisticated. Definitely going back soon!!!
