- AAngelaWashington, D.C. Area •42 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAmazing. Really unique twists in familiar ingredients. Our favorites we the squash, hand-rolled noodles, crab Rangoon and the wagyu beef rolls. Amazing. We were too full for dessert after sharing 6 dishes. The service is impeccable. Everyone was very knowledgeable. Water glass constantly filled. The decor is beautiful. Each chef has a shelf to display their favorite things. And every employee is listed on the back of the menu which shows how much care goes into the staffing.More infoMoon Rabbit by Kevin TienPrice: Very Expensive• Vietnamese• Washington•4.8
- RRobWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe went to Jont two years ago and it was spectacular then and I wasn’t sure how they could improve. However, this visit was off the charts and I’m not sure why they don’t have three Michelin stars yet. We have been to 30 Michelin stars worth of restaurants globally so we have a pretty good perspective. Chef Ryan was in the kitchen (which you essentially sit at a bar adjacent to) the whole time and he came over and spent some time with us which was very cool. The staff is funny, friendly and well informed. I got the special Waygu Zabuton in lieu of chicken and it was probably the best steaks I’ve ever had. Sometimes these type restaurants get a little too eclectic with one or two dishes, and that wasn’t the case here. Every dish wowed our family. In fact, my wife ate Uni for the first time (having passed on it before) and loved it. We feel fortunate to have this spot in DC and can’t wait to go back.More infoJôntPrice: Very Expensive• French / Japanese• U Street Corridor•4.9
- JJudithVIPWashington, D.C. Area •40 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Succotash. We had a nice table in a corner and the service was exceptional. Our server was very attentive, polite and professional. He made sure that the food flowed at an appropriate pace and that our water glasses were always topped off, and the table was kept clean. The food was delicious! I had a salad, catch of the day and hummingbird cake all of which was fantastic. My husband had corn bread and shrimp and grits, which he also thoroughly enjoyed. .More infoSuccotash PRIMEPrice: Moderate• American• Penn Quarter•4.6
- ZPZP001VIPWashington, D.C. Area •35 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024We got reservations on a short notice and was seated promptly for a late-ish lunch. We immediately got water and after a short while some piping hot bread to sop up the olive oil. We shared the kebab platter, humus, scallops, baked eggplant and cheese pied. Everything was delicious - my fave was the luscious eggplant. The kebabs were tender and came with various fresh garnishes and sauces. The scallops were sweet and fresh and perfectly cooked.More infoZaytinya - DCPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Penn Quarter•4.7
- NNicoleVIPPittsburgh / Western PA •36 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 22, 2024This was a great experience. From the time we walked in until we left the staff were considerably, attentive, and extremely nice. The energy is inviting. The open kitchen was a nice addition to the experience filling the room with warmth. The menu was clearly designed with deep thought and intention. Would highly recommended.More infoThe DabneyPrice: Very Expensive• American• Shaw•4.7
