Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Springfield

We went for the Thanksgiving dinner, and we enjoyed the every piece of the three course meal. The appetizers and main course were culinary master pieces.

The food was great. We did a set price menu. I don’t know if they have it all the time but we had 4 courses for 49$ and they were terrific. Our waiter was great attentive and had good suggestions. Can’t wait to go back.

Family table experience was very good allowing us to try a significant portion of the menu. Service was excellent.

Corso was really excellent. The menu looked so good that I had a hard time choosing. At our table we had the whipped ricotta which was delicious and great for sharing and the arancini which we all agreed were some of the best we had had in a long time. For the mains we had the scallops and risotto, the mushroom gnocchi, carbonara and the porchetta and white beans. Everyone loved their dishes (with the exception of the carbonara which was the only slight disappointment of the night). The porchetta was especially great. We shared the canoli for dessert and they were a very good sweet end to the dinner but small and maybe not the best value. The 22ox spritzes were a good value, on the other hand.

The food is good and the prices are reasonable but It’s very very loud. It’s a great place to take somebody you’d rather not hear talk. It’s definitely not the place you try to tell a date I love you or your spouse you want a divorce.
