The Lexington is more than a restaurant, it’s an institution. Located on the corner of Lexington Parkway and Grand Avenue, this St. Paul community was the most fashionable at the turn of the 19th century. The St. Paul elite lived just blocks away and the first electric trolley brought visitors up and down Grand Avenue. The Lexington opened in 1935, after the end of prohibition, and was a popular neighborhood bar to gather and socialize. Unbelievable experience Teresa our waitress remembered my name and my 2 sons name from a month ago!! That’s awesome service. The mgr Mel and front staff were Very pleasant and accommodating on a busy Fri night. The food goes without saying always right on with cook time on the steaks delicious!! I’m so impressed I felt like royalty 👸🏼 and will definitely return. Ambiance is so cozy and dark. Love it. 😊

When you win a big award (James Beard) expectations are high. Young Joni lives up to the expectations. The food is delicious, the service warm and friendly, the photo booth a plus that says ‘you’re part of this place’ and the atmosphere easy and relaxing. I’ll be back.

It is a beautiful room and the food was delicious. One of us had the Wellington Meatloaf. It looked so good. Another had the pork chop which was excellent and another had chicken pot pie. I had scallops. All very good. Service was excellent as well.
