The newest addition to the Restaurant Collection at SIMON Roosevelt Field mall, Nomiya — which translates to ‘saloon’ — stands as the area’s first izakaya. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of minimalism, the interior of Nomiya is split between a hickory-accented bar and windowed dining room framed by black granite walls. Guests can pair their meal with one of the eleven premium bottles of sake listed on the menu, such as the unfiltered, cream-colored Yuki Tora Snow Tiger nigori or bright, effervescent Uka Junmai Daiginjo; or opt for a refreshing cocktail made with soju – the national drink of Korea which is commonly distilled from potato. Also available are housemade sodas flavored with either lychee, yuzu, or mandarin, and imported wine and beer selections.

    Great service, wonderful selection of meats and salad bar and fabulous cocktails. We really appreciated that they did their best to seat us quickly and comfortably, although we were late for our reservation. We will be back to AG Steakhouse soon! Highly recommend this restaurant.

    Otherside Wine Bar never disappoints and last night was no exception. The Valentine’s Day prix fixe and wine pairing was out of this world. Everything was delicious and paired perfectly. This little peace of magic in Glen Cove will give the other restaurants a run for their money between the exquisite food and carefully curated wines. Cannot wait to go back!

    I had a fantastic experience at Galo Tavern 18! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a great meal.     Went for lunch during LI Restaurant Week. Even though restaurant is located in the mall (Roosevelt Field), it was very quiet and serene. Variety of choices. Delicious food. Friendly and attentive service. Definitely recommend.
