- RRobertoCincinnati / Dayton •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a Superb experience at Alfios for our anniversary. Great details from printed menus to glass of bubbles and a dessert. Service was impeccable, specially Leonor. All work in harmony. The Sommelier recommended the right wine for our food. The empanadas are a must. Creative and delicious. The short ribs were soft, tender and delicious. The gnocchi soft and tender. The bolognese departed a bit too much from the traditional recipe, by making it smoky and sweet it reminded us more to BBq than bolognese. Still delicious but a bit too creative. Anyway a great place, great service, excellent food. Will be backMore infoAlfio's buon ciboPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Hyde Park•4.9
- AAndrewCincinnati / Dayton •16 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was an anniversary dinner, my first visit. My wife had been previously but it had been a while ago. Our waiter Tre was excellent, very good sense of timing. We ordered a very nice Cabernet and started with the grilled romaine salad. It was exceptional, well prepared with a great dressing and generous bacon and Gorgonzola. I ordered a medley with a petite fillet, blackened shrimp, andouille sausage and garlic mashed potatoes. The fillet was slightly overcooked but still tender and flavorful. My wife had the salmon with fingerling potatoes and green beens. Again the salmon was slightly overcooked but still enjoyable. We finished with a generous portion of triple chocolate cake which was outstanding.More infoEddie Merlot's Prime Aged Beef & Seafood - CincinnatiPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Cincinnati•4.4
