Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Midtown East

Thanksgiving: where do I start? Touching all senses from the ambiance to the minimalistic modern yet eclectic decor all on point. The attentive service made it really feel special. Particularly since it’s a holiday evening and it’s a special night out. It truly felt that way. Bradly, The Somalia was not only so knowledgeable, but charming and engaging.  first course was all of my favorite things, but what stood out was every fresh note of the hummus with pomegranate seeds. Paired with a crop pine sap white wine. Followed by the fresh crisp combination of apples, fresh greens cranberry pomegranate, crème fraîche. The flavors were literally dancing. Third course, falafel with cilantro, tomatoes, mint, and a bunch of other goodness ! And if you’re looking for a unique turkey experience, definitely try the turkey mixed with wild mushroom compote wrapped in Filo dough served on hummus with steamed vegetables!!! OUTSTANDING ❤️

My family came from out of town for Thanksgiving and we decided to role the dice on eating out. We heard horror stories. We made the mistake of not including our kids as guest for the reservation and we thought our nightmare had begun. But the hostess made an exception and it was all uphill from there. From the ambiance to the service to the food, everything was seriously perfect. I never write reviews and this place made me take the time and write one. Every manager, every server, everyone was happy to be there, even on Thanksgiving. They really made it so welcoming and inviting. Every interaction was memorable it was insane. And don’t get me started on the food. O.M.G. This place was a blessing and for thanksgiving we were thankful for each team member, the food, and overall experience. We will be back!!!!!

Wow, what a great find. When I stumbled upon it in a map search, I was very excited just looking at the pictures of the main dining room, and of the dishes they served. When my friend and I ate there that night, it exceeded my high expectations! My only regret, is not being able to sample more in one night than we did. We will both be back as regulars, and it will be great to bring a few more friends, so we can sample more from each other's plates!
