Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Little Italy / College St.

Our first visit to La Bartola was memorable. The service was excellent, but it’s the food that sets them apart. Their plant based menu makes you forget you are not eating animal protein. We tried their the Oaxacan Memelas, Mole Blanco, Oaxacan Tetelas & Pistachio Pipian and for dessert their orange tamale and key-lime ice-cream. All delicious and expertly crafted. Thank you for a delicious meal and excellent service. We plan on coming back!

Great place to go for a special event, would highly recommend to everyone. Food was incredible, ambience was great, and our waiter (Marty) kept us laughing. Keep it up!

I had lived in Toronto for many years before moving away from the city. Had to come in a few days for work and decided to visit DaiLo with a friend. Why did I rob myself of this experience for so long? The food was 5-star! We ordered the wontons, pork hock, tacos, and the smoked duck. Every dish hit its mark perfectly with well-balanced flavors. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice and it isn't a place that packs restaurant goers elbow to elbow. Lastly, the service provided by the staff rivals the quality of the food.

We were searching for a fun and interesting tasting menu, and Ficoa did not disappoint! We have experienced many in Toronto, and this is the first one where the chef's love and passion truly shone through. Each dish was presented by chef Gerry himself, or a member of his knowledgeable staff, who explained not only the components of each plate, but why each was meaningful to him. This translates into the atmosphere of the restaurant itself, which is warm, comfortable and inviting. Thank you chef Gerry and team for bringing us into your home.
