- MMarisaLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoOur steaks were cooked to perfection. At one point our waitress got busy and was seated with a large party and the manager came over to check on us. - OTOpenTable DinerVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe were excited to come here as soon as we heard the amazing couple who run Michelin-starred Heritage in Long Beach opened a more casual but still unique bistro featuring Heritage chef de cuisine Patrick Clayton, and we weren't disappointed. The mid Century hotel premises are visually fun, feels like you're on a movie set, the cocktail menu was unique top to bottom and nothing on the menu disappointed in the slightest. A chopped endive salad with tastes of dates and bit of Humboldt Fog balanced wonderfully with mussels from SaltSpring Island in BC with its broth just inviting dipping every bit of bread from a local farmers market star. We shared the roasted chicken with an au jus sauce so good we tried (unsuccessfully) to coax the secrets from the staff, with the rib cap beef, an unusual and wonderful cut, and the pork which was perfect served with a salsa-like relish. Relaxed, with excellent attentive service (kudoes to Christopher). We'll go back soon (if we can still get reservations! took us months to get into Heritage last year!!)More infoOlive and RosePrice: Very Expensive• Bistro• Long Beach•4.7

- RRyanSan Diego •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAbsolutely loved this restaurant and will return soon! The food and wine pairing were perfect. I ended the meal and wanted to start the whole thing again. Portions and pours were perfect to end feeling full but not overly so. Cannot recommend any stronger.More infoHeritagePrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Long Beach•4.6
- GGillianLos Angeles •13 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoOur family is highly health-conscious, so we love Black Angus for its low-calorie, low-carb options with calories on the menu. We can have a celebratory dinner with steak, veggies, soup, and appetizers and stay within our restrictions. At the same time, if someone is taking the day off, there are so many options to go hog-wild crazy! The best part of our visit was the service. They are kind to our family's many requests, including our toddler. Never flinching, our waitress said, "Sure!" with a sweet smile to every request. Thank you for making our New Year's Day a warm, friendly place to gather!More infoBlack Angus Steakhouse - LakewoodPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Lakewood / Bellflower•4.6
