Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Kamuela

We had an outstanding meal last night! The food was all so fresh and delicious. We had the best miso soup, followed by ahi poke and sushi rolls! Our daughter had macadamia crusted fish on mashed potatoes that she loved. Cocktails were all fantastic too. However, hands down was the service. It was over the top fantastic! Everyone who worked there from greeters to Colin our waiter made us feel so happy and cared for…we just wanted to give him a hug! Last little tidbit…our daughter left her purse at the table and they called us immediately that they had it and were keeping it safe for us. Thank you so much! We will be back!

One of a kind Christmas holiday experience. Very exclusive and one of a kind. The four courses were all designed to pair well with well with sake. The optional sake pairing was super interesting. I was surprised by how different these sakes were, though maybe that has to do with the host making suitable choices for my western tastebuds. Took a bottle of "Anna" home. It was well sealed and packed in bubble wrap, and arrived well as checked luggage (can't take this onboard).

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve buffet at the resort. Great service-accommodating to our picky kids-awesome waitress!!! Perfect way to spend the evening outside under the stars with an awesome duo for entertainment.

Canoe House is a special place. The food is truly remarkable. The setting is gorgeous. Our server Dean was outstanding. He really helped make the experience special. He knows the menu and all the ingredients in great detail and was flexible in the way we ordered - allowing is to get half orders of various dishes so that we could create interesting combos. The restaurant is very expensive without a doubt. But they deliver in every way.
