Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Downtown

We absolutely loved this restaurant! The wagyu was one of the best dishes we’ve ever had. The fondue was incredible as well. Wonderful service and the best atmosphere!

It was amazing, Pizza, Gem Salad and Khoa Soi all were incredible.

I have now dined at Veneto at least five times, along with most of SLC's other top-rated establishments (Urban Hill, Walter's Capital Grill, etc.), and I believe Veneto is hands-down the single best restaurant in the city if not the state. The ambience, the service, the attention to detail -- all are simply astonishing. It is the closest thing to a Michelin-star restaurant I know of in the state. The proprietor, Marco, is an extraordinary host, who is totally committed to excellence and who has trained his staff to introduce each dish and glass of wine with articulate detail, from ingredients to preparation. The entire evening is a work of art. My one concern, and it has only happened this one time, is that there was a large and rather boisterous party in the restaurant when we were there, and the acoustics did not absorb the sound well enough -- it was on the loud side. But that did not detract from the quality of the evening, which was four stars. I will be back.

Great service and care. I was there for my birthday and they personalized things nicely. Food was delicious, oysters of course were great and fish and chips had a nice light breading. Cost was high but was expected. Would definitely come back.
