Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. Everything was excellent: the appetizers (Brussels sprouts), the entrees and the dessert. Our entrees were the Brazilian steak and the duck confit. Both entrees were flavorful and the duck was so tender it fell off the bone. We had the pistachio ricotta cake for dessert and it was light and not too sweet. It was quiet in the restaurant and easy to carry on a conversation. No one hurried us through our 2 hour meal. It was a lovely experience all around.

We visit DC eve RT January, and are always looking for restaurant that deserves a repeat visit. We finally found one! Wonderful southern style menu with unique and tasty twists. Definitely try the Sweetbread and Waffles!

The food at Floriana was as good as I have had in DC. The entrance to the restaurant is desceiving as it is a top range lace to eat in DC. I’d you have a a chance to eat here, please do so.

The restaurant was willing to accommodate us on Sunday am even tho we did not want a full brunch. I felt the staff went above and beyond! And the scrambled eggs were real- not the poetry flat version so often served in restaurants
