Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Sherman Oaks

I could eat here every night. There are so many great food options and they are all executed just perfectly. Last night it was the spciy tuna on crispy rice which is the best version of this in town. The lobster tacos are uniquely Koi and taste just sublime. I could eat these all night. Then it was the albacore very thinkly sliced with crunchy onions and again, just fantastic. And the creamy shrimp tempura, which we order with a bowl of sushi rice, and again, there are other places in town that do something like this, but Koi is by far the best. Last night, our last item was the miso marinated black cod, which we haven't had in several visits and it was just as great as always. From start to finish everything tasted great. The service was impeccable and friendly. The place was full with a great vibe. Just a perfect night and at a great restauarant that delivers every time.

Wonderful food and ambience. We really enjoyed the special Thanksgiving service. Parking was easy, noting the $12 valet charge +2$ with card to simply park behind the restaurant. Waiters were very fast and professional. Rest rooms were clean. Nice selection of alcohol free cocktails. Noise level moderate when busy so table conversation can be hard if your hearing isn’t in top form.

Everything was a good as it gets. This chain will be our first pick whenever its available. The food, service, and rooms were exceptional. Only one glitch- we made a dinner reservations two months ahead for Ardor on Thanksgiving. They wanted to seat us outside (with no prior notice) in cold weather with my 95 year old mother. We ended up waiting 25 minutes for inside table.

Everyone was very kind, attentive, and friendly during our Thanksgiving Lunch! I really appreciated the attentive service and was very happy with the experience, the food, and the staff! Everyone was exceptional & welcoming.

The staff was nice but very slow. It took a while for them to come to the table after sitting down then it was hard to get someone to come afterwards.
