- BBronnaAsheville / Western North Carolina •136 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoWe had lunch at Virginia’s on King and overall it was a good experience. Our wait person was friendly and helpful which kicked things off on the right note. Sadly they were out of the deviled eggs, so we opted for fried green tomatoes which arrived are out table piping hot and tasty. My husband enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich with vinegar based BBQ sauce, slaw, pickles and steak fries. I never pass up a meatloaf sandwich but this one was served on Texas toast and there was way too much ‘bread’ versus meatloaf. The meatloaf was tasty, the aioli was good, and the fries were excellent. Would I order the meatloaf sandwich again? Only if was served on a bun.More infoVirginia's on KingPrice: Moderate• Southern• Downtown Charleston•4.5

Grilled scallops with delicious cheese/bacon & jalapeño slice on top. Amazing! My husband and I continued to eat just these two items until our belly’s were full. - SStevenSouth Carolina •14 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoA top-notch dining experience. The Wagyu hanger steak and filet mignon were delicious and properly cooked to our specifications. The quality of the food alone will bring us back, but the service was right up there as well. Our server was personable, knowledgeable and incredibly attentive. In addition, the owner and manager both checked on us several times to ensure our expectations were being met. We've dined in many restaurants in Charleston and seldom do we leave a restaurant with the feeling that we are really looking forward to going back. We certainly felt that way after dining at Burwell's.More infoBurwell's Stone Fire GrillPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown Charleston•4.8
