- TTracyVIPSan Diego •9 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis place is really cool all around. The decor is really creative and engaging. The staff were on top of our orders, refills, and water throughout the night. The plantain app and XXX roll were standouts for us. We were concerned about the noise level based on other reviews we read. While the music could be a tad quieter, it honestly wasn’t an issue having a conversation. And our table was the one directly in front of the DJ booth. All four of us would recommend this place for a fun, unique night out and will be back again ourselves.More infoTakoPrice: Expensive• Sushi• Old Town•4.2
- BBillVIPSan Diego •113 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoI have been a patron of J & G’s since it was Guillio’s in Pacific Beach. Always great Italian food and service, you might have even called it the best in San Diego. The last few times that we have dined there, the food quality seems to be slipping. Not to mention the portion size continues to get smaller. Last night one person in our party had the tortellini verde, always a hit but last night it was more like tortellini soup, the few tortellini and 5 (we counted them) mushrooms were swimming in a large bowl of sauce. Way too much sauce for the portion size. It’s sad to see the decline in one of our favorite restaurants. We’re hoping that this was a fluke and not the new norm. Cocktails were spot on and the service by Jose was excellent!More infoJack & Giulio's Italian RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Italian• Old Town•4.7
- LLoisLas Vegas •47 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe spouse & I were visiting my daughter, who lives in San Diego. She had not been to Madison & neither had we. We all enjoyed the tomato & burrata appetizer. We also had the cioppino, Tuscan sausage rigatoni & chicken piccata; all were so good! Spouse & I had the Ibarra & The Woodsman, which were delicious. Service from Kylee excellent. We also enjoyed the music. My daughter plans to bring her roommates here.More infoMadisonPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• University Heights•4.5
- JJessieChicago / Illinois •11 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 5, 2025Probably the best taco I’ve ever had. Our server was knowledgeable and passionate. They accommodated us moving up our reservation. The drinks were amazing and I still dream about the carne asada taco. 11/10 would go back in a heartbeat.More infoTahona BarPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Old Town•4.5
