The American Steakhouse offers an expansive 1,800 square foot subterranean courtyard allowing patrons to dine al fresco and enjoy a New Orleans-inspired exterior space. This cool oasis is complete with a 20 foot, 5-tiered granite water wall, multi-tiered landscaping, lava rock fire pit, and black granite bar. Brian was great! Food was all perfect- we had filet mignon lobster mac tater tots tiramisu cheesecake and sweet potato fries. Everything was very good. Sadly the beef Wellington is wrapped in prosciutto, which was a bit disappointing as we don’t eat pork- However its our fault for not checking!! Drinks were good and strong as well. Great view and the pianist coupled with the dim lighting made for a perfect romantic ambiance . Only complaint would be that they aren’t very strict with their dress-code- saw someone wearing lululemon leggings and sneakers which kind of threw me off. Feel like it cheapens the place. But overall very great experience .

A beautiful restaurant in the arts district. Easy parking and a relaxed ambiance. We ordered the hummus and the jalapeño corn fritters for appetizers! Those corn fritters were a big YUM and so unique. We loved it. I ordered their seasonal Gingerbread Martini. It was incredible. Our entrees were great and the cobbler was delicious. We will definitely be back.

What an exceptional experience; food, service, and atmosphere. If you want quality Italian, La Stella is the place to go. It is going to be on the high end for price but the restaurant is worth it. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. The calamari is fantastic and their pastas are great.

My sweetheart and I went to celebrate his birthday today (his birthday is on Christmas Day). Overall, it was a nice dinner, a bit pricey for two people and small portions. I had the tortellini, and you don’t get much even for the Sinner option and could’ve been cooked a little longer, but it wasn’t bad. We also had the short ribs, and they were very tender and would recommend them. The broccolini was good and the mac & cheese was decent. For his birthday, we selected the cheesecake, and that was really good. Our server was great. It’s a nice spot for a date night and low-key birthday dinner. Great ambience, but it did get busy for Christmas Eve and the noise level was a little high, but overall we enjoyed it.
