Best Restaurants for Handcrafted Cocktails in Downers Grove

Amazing experience as always at VIOLI. It was my fifth time back and the food was consistent and as delicious it was the first time. Ambiance and decor are always a plus. Services was a little slow, but still very good. Looking forward to coming back, as we love bringing others here for special occasions

Another Capri family restaurant that lives up to the Capri reputation. Large tasty portions, owner was on site making sure everything is to our liking, nice bar area. Order the Sunday dinner (sausage, meatballs, neck bones, rigatoni) which could have fed 4 people at a more than reasonable price). It’s attached to the Doubletree hotel but it doesn’t feel like a hotel restaurant.

We have never gone out for dinner on Christmas Day, but this year we were a small group of four, so we decided not to cook and made reservations at Devon’s. Boy, are we glad we did! Their Christmas Prix Fixe menu was wonderful with many great choices. As a table, we had lobster bisque, gumbo, lamb, scallops, sea bass, lamb and filet. All were stunning! It was very busy but service was spot-on, thanks to server extraordinaire, Janet! She really made our evening special and gave great recommendations. Cost for such fine food was really a great value as well. We are definitely going back!

Great food and great drinks. I got the cantina sunset mule. It was delicious. Also got the tuna. Did not expect that big of a piece for the price. 10/10 will be back.
