Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Swampscott

We had a wonderful lunch today. We were able to sit near the fireplace! It was cozy. The service was excellent and the food was great. The new chairs are a bit low and hard to get out of but very comfortable. Can’t wait to return.

We had dinner at the bar. Both bartenders were attentive and provided excellent service We shared an appetizer pasta and main. Food service was well spaced and everything was delicious, the pork chop cooked exactly as requested An enjoyable evening.

The host and server were very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was nice and the food was very good.

Seated immediately and enjoyed our meal. Delicious food and great drinks (Gingerbread Espresso Martini and Gingerbread Glacier Brew).We split the banana bread and each had the Eggs Benedict with avocado. Neither of us was able to finish our eggs. The hash browns were delicious! Our water was constantly filled and the server was present without being intrusive. Crowded and very noisy but fun!

Overall experience was good. However, it’s not the same as it used to be. Wedge salad came with a slab of bacon as opposed to bacon bits, which I found difficult to cut up. Waiters and waitresses used to come around more often to refill wine. Just different small things that have changed that you would expect from a high-end restaurant.
