The primary and private dining rooms are located in the original first floor gathering spaces. The intimate restaurant deftly juxtaposes modern orange vinyl chairs with black and white portraits of Bridgehampton’s agrarian history, handblown glassware with delicate seasonal flowers. Featuring one-on-one service, the restaurant cozily seats 50 while offering a more relaxed atmosphere in the warm months on our private patio, which has been reconfigured to capture the beauty and peacefulness of our Inn’s garden. Our thoughtfully playful dinner menus change bi-weekly, with the season, and feature the best available, locally-gathered ingredients. That means 800+ recipes a year - how exciting! Each week: the menu consistently serves a form of duck and fish, an iteration of the fritter - lobster, artichoke, zucchini - and our all-time favorite cheeses found at Loaves & Fishes Food Store on cheese stones.

CELEBRATING 54 YEARSThe Old Stove Pub is a Hamptons Classic Steakhouse. Originally opened in 1967 as a Pub, then in 1969 The Old Stove Pub transformed into a Greek Restaurant and Steakhouse. The Old Stove Pub has been closed for several years and completed extensive renovations and restoration. The process took over a year to complete, while also keeping much of the original detail and charm.     We really enjoyed our meal at the Halyard. We ordered several appetizers which consisted of calamari, squid, clams and the ricotta with honey. All of our appetizers were delicious. Compliments to the chef. We then ordered the chicken, short ribs and bolognese. All of our meals were so delicious. The short ribs were perfect for a chilly January evening. All of us were pretty full, but decided to try the desserts. Definitely worth saving room for dessert. The espresso creme brûlée is probably the best brûlée we have ever had. We also had the banana ice cream dessert which was fantastic. Definitely put this restaurant on your trip out east.

    After many years of excellent meals, I had the best meal ever last night at BHI. The poached oysters and Dover sole were a religious experience. Kyle’s craft cocktails were stellar and it was marvelous to see Glenn and John before they are off on their well-deserved January vacation. AND….Elena was on top form; it’s always a delight to see her. Have a good break and see you in February.
