- JJanVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •25 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThey were busy, I mean frenetically busy being one of the few places open for Christmas dinner in NYC. Understandably, we were seated at 7:00 for a 6:30 reservation for party of 6. Once seated, we were attended to promptly but never rushed. Waiter, Genci (?) was knowledgeable and guided us when we had questions. Both the rib eye and filet mignon were cooked to perfection. One of the best steaks we had especially for serving such a large crowd. Meal was truly memorable and nice finish to the day.More infoBenjamin SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Midtown East•4.6
- JJonManchester/Greater Manchester •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoFood was impeccable. Busy obviously because it was Christmas Day, however it felt like the wait staff were rushing around and that rubbed off on us. Took my bread plate away before I had even finished with it (along with my starter player whilst my wife was still eating!). Price was very reasonable especially for Christmas Day, however the servers need to slow down. Several of our requests were forgotten several times and it was hard to catch the eye of the wait staff to chase them up as they were so focussed on (literally) running around. In a nutshell, the food could not be faulted. The wait staff need to relax a little more and the experience could be so much better.More infoSea Fire GrillPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Midtown East•4.8
- JJennyVIPNew York City •3 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 21, 2024This place used to be our go-to restaurant for all occasions when we lived at Hampton CT in Kew Gardens. Their weekly prime rib special was a must and always good fun at the bar. I decided to have a group brunch with friends to celebrate Christmas as it was more centrally located for everyone. Having been away for nearly 7 years, it was like seeing an old friend again. Food is always prepared thoughtfully and the staff is awesome. Not surprising to learn that John, the general manager is still there. Thanks Austin Ale House for another great memory.More infoAustin's Ale HousePrice: Moderate• American• Kew Gardens•3.7
