Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Highland Park

Wonderful dinner after coming back from the symphony. Sara is a great server. Ambience is great. Drinks and dinner (we had The Artichoke) were outstanding. Another very enjoyable time at The Raymond!

We ordered the prime rib and it was delicious. It was very tender. The prime rib was prepared the way we ordered it and the sides (creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding) were wonderful. We enjoyed our meal and our service was friendly and attentive.

Started with Martinis and oysters… delicious… we both had the petite filet for the entree with the commentaries and green beans. The steak and peppercorn sauce were delightful. We finished with affogato and chocolate lava cake..a wi derful relaxed dinner with excellent service!

Our server, Yasmine, was absolutely phenomenal. My friend and I look forward to tea at the Huntington Library every time, but it was made significantly better having Yasmine. She was so attentive and personable; it felt like she was celebrating with us. The food was delicious! Some standouts were the Lamb sandwich, the cucumber, and the truffle mushroom (an accommodation for my friend’s shellfish allergy). We’ve tried many teas across LA, but the Huntington’s is #1.

Perfect. All brunch spots should be like this. I almost want to gatekeep this because it’s so good.
