Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Civic Center / Hayes Valley / Van Ness

Everything was really wonderful however I asked for a to go box and the waiter ended up taking it away to box it and when I returned home I saw they removed half of my food so I didn't have my full leftovers. That was really disappointing.

Joe’s was recommended from co-workers. I took my partner for his birthday since Italian food is his favorite. He said it was a wonderful experience and I agree.

The location of this area is located in a very raw part of San Francisco surrounded by a major homeless population. The hotel is a bit old and rundown, but the rooftop and the ambience was gorgeous. However, the service was extremely slow. We waited roughly 25 minutes for our order to be taken

We went for valentines, great experience! We’re seated immediately, food came out quickly & was very good. Plus one of the best espresso martinis in SF!

This is one of our very favorite restaurants in San Francisco. Food and service are impeccable. It is particularly lovely to sit in the main room with the fireplace where they are often roasting meat. It is a special place. Don’t tell too many people!!
