Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Hamilton

This was our second time eating here (and it’s only been open for a week so far!). Food is excellent, portions are HUGE and service is terrific. Both times I had salads - absolutely delicious and really filling. My husband got a burger and fries and loved it. Our server Jason was terrific and really knew the menu. I liked that he confirmed with us what we ordered so it all came out perfect!

Very good food, but like Elements (the fine dining restaurant upstairs), Mistral missed a final touch… everything felt tasty but “almost there”, missing refinement

There were seven of us for the prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner. It was a bargain! $70/pp for a four course and delicious meal. Four choices: traditional turkey, salmon, prime rib and vegetarian. All were terrific. Every course was fantastic and everyone was happy with their choices. A manager assisted the staff in keeping the service running smoothly. The entire staff was fantastic. The restaurant was completely booked and the way it is laid out in a series of small rooms, the noise level was low and the atmosphere intimate. I have been here several times for brunch, lunch and dinner and it is consistently fantastic.

Ravellos is always our favorite place to go for dinner. We have never had a bad meal. Specials are amazing as well as their regular menu.

Glooming Grove is a quaint place to meet for cocktails, a girls’ lunch or a date night dinner. Try the Grove Salad. Everything is good though!
