Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Baldwin

In a word, Exceptional!! From the deliciously hand-crafted martini's with the most amazing hand stuffed blue cheese olives (any place who serves them should take note, because there a lot of posers out there and it makes a huge difference in the martini). The professional and friendly service was outstanding and not rushed, which is important when you are out for a nice dining experience. We began our food journey with the appetizer special of eggplant rollatini which was superb and flavorful followed by perfectly prepared rack of lamb and salmon. We will definitely be back and you should mark this one down for your food journey. Great ambiance as well!!

First visit to Brasserie, and will be first of many. Hands down best French on LI. Went as a party of 5, and all meals were exceptional! Appetizers: Seared foie gras is the real deal and generously portioned. Baked camembert generated oohs and aahs. Mains: Filet mignon--fine cut and perfectly grilled. Cassoulet--excellent confit and perfect ratio of beans/meat. Duck Magret: tender and delicious--what you hope for in a LI duck. Bass Filet--melts in your mouth. Chicken cordon bleu: lightly breaded and fried and perfectly executed. All dishes well-presented. Table visit from chef-owner Aless is a special touch that shows class and caring! Our server Michael was a real pro! All in all an excellent experience and can't stop raving about it. Opened last year, Aless and Justin are for real! Can't wait to go back!

Had dinner with friends celebrating a birthday. It was the first time they were at Davenport and they absolutely loved it! Unfortunately, the live in NJ but plan to come back on their next visit!!! Davenport never disappoints!!!

Six of us came to dine and listen to Mr Sessna on piano. The Polo Lounge is my favorite spot. I love the ambience there .Sitting in the booths is so comfy and cozy The food is always delicious and the service impeccable. Francesco greeted us warmly and Dominick treated us with the utmost care. We had the duck bolognese with homemade pappardelle and filet of flounder stuffed with spinach and feta. Francesco recommended a lovely Cabernet. You can never go wrong at the Polo Lounge at Westbury Manor!

Service excellent! Dinner was absolutely delicious and the cocktails superb!
