Rated 4.8 Stars OpenTable, 3 Stars "EXCELLENT," The Bergen Record and Voted "BEST OF BERGEN" by (201) Magazine and the Bergen Magazine year after year. Savini is a Sophisticated, Award Winning, Northern Italian/American Restaurant. Considered one of the most attractive restaurants in Bergen County, food is served at Savini in what was once a colonial home. What remains of the original only contributes to the aesthetics. But it is a positive culinary experience that diners seek and that is what they get at Savini. It excels in the three most significant barometers of a restaurant's health: Food, Service and Atmosphere. The cuisine is Northern Italian/Continental. Specialties cover the gamut – a selection of fresh fish delivered daily, homemade pasta, veal, chicken, steaks and chops. Enjoy coffee, an after-dinner drink and perhaps late night music in the lounge. Our cuisine and menu will please the most discerning palate and is both distinctive and unique.

Biagio’s has become our go-to spot for romantic dinners, and for good reason. My wife and I had our wedding reception at The Terrace last year, and every time we dine here, it takes us right back to that unforgettable night. The food, the atmosphere—everything is just as amazing as we remember. 10/10, highly recommend!

Pleasantly surprised on how reservations were handled on such a busy night as Valentines Day. We were seated immediately, not rushed at all, and as always, deliciously wonderful food! One of our very favorites. Food and service is consistently good!

I had heard about Rails from numerous people who have always raved about it. So, I was very excited in anticipation. The restaurant is beautiful right alongside the Towaco Railroad Station. Plenty of help valet parking but a bit of a walk to get inside. The ambiance is nice with an extensive top notch wine list. But our waitress was not as knowledgeable about the menus that might have been a good opportunity for an upsell for our order. And it was kind of hard to get over that my guest’s lobster tail arrived raw. In sending it back when I asked the waitress about it she said oh! I didn’t talk to them, they’re very busy with it being the holiday. . . Not a very good first impression. Not even an apology. I would go back though. And I understand you can take a tour and go through the secret door to the bar in the cellar. The menu is a la carte which make it seem expensive, but the prices are actually quite reasonable.

Me and my fiancé had a lovely Valentines dinner. I definitely recommend the Pekín duck, although it seems that just about anything made there is fantastic. The Valentines menu was a fixed price, so it was a little bit different in value than it normally would be, but the service was fantastic and friendly. If you go to F1RST, they will do their best to give you a 5 star experience all the way through, and I feel that they succeed. The atmosphere is a bit more modern, and it feels almost like eating in a house. From what I can tell, everything was quite pristine, as it is a newer restaurant. The only qualm I might have is that gratuity was included, which I was not alerted to beforehand (as least that I know of). It is possible that this was just for Valentine’s Day because of the fixed price, but I can’t be sure. It was what I would have tipped anyways (standard 20%) so it didn’t upset me too much. I just would have liked the notification beforehand is all. Even the starter bread was delicious, as when I received it and began to dip it into the Pesto they provided (which is a bit of a unique and welcome turn by the way), I just knew I needed seconds! If you’re looking for a more upscale restaurant to spend an evening, but you’re worried about not getting enough bang for your buck, come here and you won’t regret it! And if anyone from the restaurant happens to see this comment, thank you again for a lovely evening! I’ll be sure to come back again :)
