Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in West Baltimore

Every dish was fantastic! The rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans were had by two of us, I had the soup of the day, rice and bean soup w/sausage (yum), house salad was fresh and delicious, short ribs were moist, delicious and fell off the bone, and the crab cake salad was chefs kiss! We finished off with bread pudding and key lime pie were incredibly delectable. Our server Andrew was a little stiff at first but provided memorable experience once he loosened up. Great service Andrew!! And the skillet cornbread has just the right amount of kick to it. We will be back again and again. Glenwoods never disappoints!

Dinner was absolutely delicious!! The arugula salad just gets better and better. I tried the short-rib agnolotti for the first time and every bite was spectacular!! Only complaint- a few more of those bites would have felt more satisfying, it didn’t feel like quite enough. Please add just a bit more to the plate next time, and the Panna Cotta was to die for!!

Had some out of town friends in from Sc and was looking for a in the middle place to gather and it was perfect! Great food! Great football specials! Definitely will be back!

The Ambassador had gorgeous Christmas decorations. They said "no problem" when I asked to add 2 people.

What an absolutely amazing experience! I was ecstatic from the moment my reservation was made up to the actual date night. Everything was superb to include: the hostess welcome upon arrival, the beautiful candle lit ambiance, the waiter who was very polite and well versed in the products. He provided amazing food and beverage recommendations which were selected and appreciated. The presentation of the appetizer and entrees was awesome. My bae and I raved over everything while taking in the experience. As we completed dinner and prepared to leave; out came dessert, which was the highlight of the occasion. Upon making the reservation, it asked about a special occasion. All to say, it was Bae and I's 1st anniversary, OMG! The decadent dessert (cheesecake and raspberries) was embedded with gold candles, and a chocolate "Happy Anniversary" topper. As if that were not enough to create smiles and memories, Mr. Charles Levine, owner, visited our table and thanked us for dining at Citron. He cared to ask about our experience and even gifted us Citron memorabilia. You won't believe what happened next; we were adorned with some of the most delicious fine chocolates. Oh what a night!!! This by far was the best of the best. Bae and I plan to visit again in the summer to experience the outdoor dining and lake side view.
