It was a very special Christmas Eve dinner! I first heard about this restaurant when it was reviewed in the SF Chronicle 11/3/24. It was as good as it possibly could be. The food was absolutely delicious. My daughter & I ordered the steak & frites & I asked for my frites to be very crispy & for 2 dishes of aioli to dip them in & they easily accommodated me. The steak with peppercorn sauce was tender and a perfect medium rare.

Outstanding service, incredible and perfectly curated omakase from start to finish, without a doubt the best meal of the year. Sushi Hakko is hands down my husbands and my favorite place to enjoy omakase. Chef Alex is so talented and we feel so grateful to have such a wonderful experience every time. Sushi Hakko has the perfect ambience to celebrate special occasions. Their attention to detail is impeccable from the selection of fishes, to the best and biggest truffles, to noticing my husband is left handed and switching their chopsticks to special left handed ones. Five stars all around! Im salivating just thinking of the meal we had.
