Best Restaurants with Bar Seating in Rosedale / Summerhill

We have been looking forward to visiting for months. The restaurant did not disappoint! It’s casual and quiet, with old timey music that is comforting and fun. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive and accommodating. The food is out of this world!!! We will definitely be back again!!

Linny’s has the best pastrami I’ve ever had, it melts in your mouth! The steak was cooked to perfection, the cesar salad was delicious, loved the fries and the oyster mushrooms. To finish off, they have a chocolate babka that’s to die for. Our waiter Sam was very nice and he is an amazing server. All the staff is very friendly including Blaze and Roy who work at the bar. The decor of the restaurant is lovely and it’s very clean! The ambiance is very warm and the jazz music they play is very lovely.

Had a lovely evening. Food was excellent. I am doing a dry January so asked for carbonated water. It was hardy fizzy and warm. And had to ask for top up. Twice. Otherwise the service was good. Prompt and explained all the dishes but not hurried. A good pace. However at the end all dishes were cleared but no one offered coffee or dessert and had to ask for the bill. So marked down on service otherwise a great spot. Would definitely go again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our tasting menu at Alo. Service was impeccable. Food was delicious and exciting. I tried the 7 wine pairing menu which was diverse and educational ranging from sake to whites, reds, and sweet wines. The tables are large and well spaced so it's easy for intimate conversations. Great value. We'll be back!

AMAZING!!!! Firstly, if I could give 6 stars, I absolutely would. The service and ambiance was incredible. Ana and Domi were attentive and extremely friendly. I felt at ease. The food was the best I have had at a Toronto restaurant in years! I will be back very soon. I had to get 2 orders of the croquettes because they were delectable! I will be recommending Chica to all my friends. As someone that was previously in the industry, Congrats to management for building such an amazing team. I highly recommend chica!!!!
