Best Restaurants with Bar Seating in Reno

The food and service was outstanding. We were in a small room with a large group next to us and two children age 7 to 10 were running around the table screaming. The staff did well but the parents and family ignored the entire commotion. This was during 75% of our meal and caused a romantic evening to go awry.

Smith and River is our go to nice date night and celebratory dinner spot! The service is always exceptional and the food matches! I had the table side cacio e pepe last night and what an experience that was. My husband had the chefs cut and it was a 12oz new York strip cooked to perfection with the most succulent mashed potatoes! We loved our server and everyone we interacted with at the restaurant is so sweet and welcoming.

The food was excellent as it always has been on each visit. Cody, his team did an outstanding job providing perfect service as a team. Because my wife needs a special diet it took extra time to make sure that order was done properly. Everything we asked for was done timely as the food was astounding. The steaks were excellent. Will be back in three weeks on another visit staying in a different hotel but we certainly will be coming back to Charlie Palmer for at least one meal while we’re there.
