- VVickiVIPEdinburgh/Midlothian •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFrom arriving to leaving our experience was fantastic. Food lovely, drink fantastic, waiting staff attentive. We had our food and the staff then came to say they had reserved us seats in the bar where we continued to have a few drinks relaxed and chatted. Lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon coming up to Christmas.More infoAngels with BagpipesPrice: Expensive• Scottish• Old Town•4.6
- VVanessaYorkshire •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoEdinburghs The ivy:19/12/24 The waitress and the waiter were really nice the food sounds good and some... Interesting. Its kind of noisy. The drinks: The drinks were really nice my mother says it's really nice she also says it is fruity and goes down easily. The looks: It looks really nice there's candle's in the middle of each table the view has to much construction though there's lamps in the middle of each window to the paintings in the back are... Kind of nice actually there's a leaf in a corner of the room which I like The starter: The smoke salmon was amazing and wonderful especially with the lemon best smoke smalon ever. The foods time to come. Its taken a long time. The main course: The fish was exquisite one of a kind and the chips were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING WAY BETTER THAN THE SMOKE SALMON WHICH I THOUGHT WAS THE BEST the mushy peas were... Weird and the ribeye steak was good but burgers are still better. The dessert: Since it was my sister's birthday I got a FREE dessert and it's part of a birthday cake AND trust me IT'S TO DIE FOR!!! The bill: The bill is way less than I thought just 231!?!? THAT'S A BARGAIN ESPECIALLY FOR HOW MUCH WE GOT! The rating: The final rating is... 4.5 stars🌟⭐🌟⭐ Review by Ollie SmithMore infoThe Ivy on the SquarePrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Old Town•4.4
- LLauraEdinburgh/Midlothian •5 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 10, 2024Lovely, as always! Only one minor complaint though, main course was a tad on the cool side, needed to be piping hot, but apart from that, the standard was the usual high!More infoTwenty Princes StreetPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• New Town•4.7
- AWAmandaWCleveland / Akron / Canton •3 reviews5.0Dined on Jul 14, 2024We found this to be a charming and indulgent experience for summer afternoon tea. The serving size was plenty (we had leftovers to take away) and they graciously allowed us to have more than seven different pots of teas! We stayed for nearly 2.5 hours with no sense of being rushed by the staff. Outstanding!More infoAfternoon Tea @ PrestonfieldPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Newington•4.7
