- CCeciliaWorcestershire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI wanted to book a post-theatre meal & found The Mulberry Tree online. We arrived early, as the production did not over-run, but were still shown straight to our table. Despite being early, we did not have to wait to be served. The meal was lovely and sensibly priced and the service was spot on. Finally, when I went to the 'Ladies' before leaving & saw the layout of the rest of the restaurant, I think we had the best table - it was like being in an alcove. I would fully recommend The Mulberry Tree.More infoMulberry TreePrice: Moderate• British• Malvern•4.4

The atmosphere was charming and it was lovely and cozy, especially as it was so miserable outside due to the rain. The dishes we sampled were exemplary. That was the best chicken Caesar salad I have ever had (and I've had lots!) and my friend said her beetroot salad was the best she'd tasted too. All 3 of us have experience from Michelin starred restaurants and this was truly excellent. It was small, but it was charming. The ingredients used are clearly top quality. The wine delicious and small things such as the toilets and the shine on the drinking glasses are something I always look at, both were pristine. Thank you. We will definitely be back and we love the sound of the evening service you provide. We only come to Cheltenham for a meet up 4 times a year, but I will definitely be recommending the establishment to friends in the Cheltenham area and we will be back, for sure. Thank you. You have a lovely little restaurant. I took the gratitude for booking it (we all worked in the Law Department of Kraft Foods who formerly had the building), but the praise should go to you, not me! What a lovely find for us. Julie, Frances and Joanne xxMore infoNo1 CheltenhamPrice: Expensive• British• Cheltenham•5

Inventive starter - smoked eel with horseradish and beetroot, followed by a very generous and perfectly cooked piece of cod in a saffron sauce with mussels, and panna cotta to finish. The Finger Post Sauvignon Blanc was one of the best we’ve tasted. Friendly and efficient service and a really good atmosphere.More infoThe Butchers ArmsPrice: Very Expensive• British• Eldersfield•4.8
