Chef Nicolas is a true professional who cares about his craft, and it shows in the consistency of the kitchen, the efficiency of the service, and the meticulously curated wine list. With a gorgeous new outdoor seating area set to open soon, our family is looking forward to wearing out our welcome there!! Too good to miss, even in a competitive food scene like Houston now proudly has!!More infoMagdalena's Trattoria PizzeriaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Upper Kirby / Shepherd Corridor•4.8
- TTerryvipHouston •47 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had dinner for three in their private dining room - great ambiance, lower noise level. Two dozen east coast oysters were delightful, served ice cold, opened to perfection, with delicious condiments - as always at State of Grace. Being regulars at SOG, we ordered our usual - Caesar salad, blackened redfish, Cacio et pepe pasta, and topped it off with their chocolate pecan ball. All were delightful, which, along with the normal friendly, efficient serving staff and attentive management team, keep us coming back again and again. Keep up the great work SOG team!More infoState of GracePrice: Expensive• Contemporary Southern• River Oaks•4.8

It is a great place for business development lunches because they leave you alone and don't interrupt the conversations. The prices are reasonable. Very good restaurant with consistent quality.More infoLiberty Kitchen & Oysterette - River OaksPrice: Expensive• Seafood• River Oaks•4.6
- CCharlottevipHouston •14 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 21, 2024We were on a reconnaissance mission to choose Greek items for our Greek Themed Friendsgiving next week. Excel (our server) gave us excellent assistance in recommending choices and even said Chef would come in Thanksgiving morning to prepare our choices for pick up that day. We are getting 2 dishes for our party of 18. Love Helen's and always have a wonderful meal and great Greek wine choices to accompany the food.More infoHelen Greek Food and WinePrice: Moderate• Greek• Rice Village•4.5
