The George hotel is a beautiful 400 year old hotel, currently only used as a restaurant. Taken over in 2020, the restaurant is tastefully decorated, adourning wonderful photos of chepstow through the years. The menu boasts an array of fabulous dishes, from the traditional 'pub grub' with our 2 for £16 menu, to our in house dry aged Steaks, cooked to perfection by our chefs or brought out to you on our signature sizzling hot stones.     Booked a table in the barn on a lunchtime .. great choice of menu in immaculate surroundings .. room was very warm and cosy considering the outside temperature ( freezing) !!! Service was excellent & so was the food .. staff very friendly & professional.. would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back !!!

    The food was amazingly delicious. The three mezze I had I couldn’t recommend enough, oyster wings, manti dumplings and arayes. My favourite was the arayes. For dessert I had the baklava which was great with an espresso. The perfect place to introduce your non-vegan friends to amazing vegan food. #Veganuary

    Really fabulous meal Polite and good service You can hear each other talk despite being busy as the music is low ( great ! ) Only minor criticism was the loos - could be a bit cleaner but the restaurant was really busy .

    This was our first visit to Lilliput Farmhouse Kitchen and it certainly did not disappoint ! The service was impeccable and the food was absolutely delicious, fresh and tasty ….it was my husband’s birthday and we were offered a complimentary mulled wine which was a bonus …we will certainly be back
