- AAndrewKent •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWelcoming and effective staff. Food choices were excellent. We had the seafood curry and a lamb curry. I would have liked more roasted potato but that was a minor issue. The house Bordeaux was well priced and delicious. We would definitely recommend this restaurant for a couple or foursome. Possibly not a group booking for us due to the price. We will be returningMore infoEssence at the Pantiles by Atul KochharPrice: Expensive• Indian• Tunbridge Wells•4.5
- PPennieLondon •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food, wine, and service at The Poet was quite simply exceptional. I had to be persuaded by my partner that a chocolate tasting menu was worth going to. I’m so glad he managed to make me realise how good it could be! The chef excelled, having eaten at the Poet before I did have high expectations, Chef Lee surpassed my expectations by quite some way. An excellent evening which we will be repeating for sure.More infoThe Poet at MatfieldPrice: Expensive• British• Tunbridge Wells•4.8

Nick and Ian do a brilliant job as hosts and the staff are so friendly and helpful with a large group and young children. Such delicious choices and the banana loaf with maple butter amazing. Great location and the glass houses just make it the most interesting place for brunch, lunch or dinner.More infoWater LanePrice: Expensive• European• Hawkhurst•4.7

Excellent location, comfortable and welcoming environment, tables nicely spaced, well thought-out menu and specials, good cooking, portions and presentation on the plate, decent wine list at sensible prices, charming staff, not rushed although we lingered until gone 5pm, overall a very satisfying and enjoyable experience. Value for money and highly recommended.More infoThe BrasseriePrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Tunbridge Wells•4
