Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Sidmouth

Oh my, Oh my! The absolute best roast in East Devon by far! Every time we go the vegetables are different and plenty of them, just a few potatoes which is more than enough for the large portion of various vegetables and massive Yorkshire Pudding! The meat just falls apart and a side order of cauliflower cheese is to die for. Sadly no room for pudding but just the best roast! Ensure to book a table and pre-book your meat as it’s always busy & can sell out. Be back again soon

The food was exceptional (although I would have liked a larger salad!) The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We'd definitely like to come back again soon.

Wow , wow wow Probably the best dining experience I’ve had , superb service and hosting we we’re really looked after what a team you have , food was amazing setting was beautiful and they went way above and beyond with how they looked after us . Food was lovely, atmosphere was great , wasn’t too noisy. The service was good but a little slow between servings . It was busy so it’s understandable… Overall it was amazing

Visited the Balfour on Sunday with my wife and with my sister. We each opted for a starter, Sunday roast and a pudding and all three courses were absolutely outstanding. Never been here before but absolutely will come back again. Best roast I have had for years. Decent price, and really good, friendly atmosphere.
