- CColinNew York City •6 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoThe food was ok. Loved the ambiance. My date and i was able to enjoy a quiet dinner where we got to talk. But my problem was, even though the place was empty at the time, the servers and hosts were trying to kick us out even though there was only 2 other people there…you know when they keep coming to the table taking things away…pretty much hinting to go…it’s not like anyone else was waiting for our table. But i digress. Still a good dinner with my date. ThanksMore infoPera Mediterranean BrasseriePrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Midtown East•4.4

We loved the tuna tartare, mushroom ravioli, and the burger. While it was quiet the afternoon we went and we could have flagged the server at anytime, I do wish they would check in once during each course.More infoDavid Burke TavernPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Upper East Side•4.4
- SSuzanneNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWent on Valentine's Day before the theater. didn't feel rushed, yet prompt. All the food was excellent- Grilled squid with salad , perfectly done. Lasagna- very different but very good. Shrimp risotto was out of this world; As a gluten-free dessert and one of the best-melted chocolate cakes ever. Hazelnut custard is also delicious. Overall, it was a great experience with quality food and excellent service. Will go back againMore infoOsteria al DogePrice: Expensive• Italian• Theater District•4.7

- RRoxanneNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI must echo the comments of anyone who calls the alderman a hidden gem. It is truly a little oasis in the hub of Times Square with some of the best food and service I’ve had in a long while. Everyone we encountered was professional, polite, friendly, relaxed, and service was on point at all times. A special shout out to Hersey at the bar and our server Ethan, who was just tremendous honest and very attentive, to the lovely manager, a young blonde woman whose name I forgot sorry. Had the perfectly prepared salmon and flirt steak entrees from the prix fixe menu plus ALL the other TASTY courses and they were very generous portions, very satisfying and a wonderful value. Cannot recommend this enough if you are going to a show or you just want to have an enjoyable evening dinner lunch or just a coffee from the front barista station. The ambience is warm and tasteful. Like sitting in a garden! Just terrific. You won’t be disappointed.More infoThe AldermanPrice: Moderate• American• Midtown West•4.3
