On January 3rd, the restaurant was a bit chilly at 10 AM as we waited for the heat to become optimum. Even my hot tea was only lukewarm. But the food and ambiance were as good as always; and, the staff were cheerful and professional as usual. Summer House remains our favorite dining experience.

The Beef and Barley soup was the perfect start on a very cold day. Service is professional and warm. The French Dip Sandwich is so tender it melts in your mouth! The underground parking is a huge plus on a bad-weather day!

Kalin what is wonderful and kept all of our requests and his mind and quickly presented. We were surprised how busy it was, but the staff was efficient and they knew how to handle all the tables. There were five in our group. We all ordered something different and we all were very pleased with our dinners. We will go back!

We had a 2:15 reservation on Christmas Day but weren’t seated until 3:00 PM. I didn’t mind, as I could see how busy they were. I have to commend the entire staff for their ability to stay calm and composed amidst the chaos of such a hectic day.
