We had a wonderful evening at Hawksmoor, Air Street. I am coeliac and our server Lanka was truly amazing. She spoke with the kitchen and came back and went through the menu explaining what I could have, what I couldn’t (which wasn’t many items) and what could be adapted for my dietary needs. She was brilliant and looked after our table of 6 all evening with a smile and a relaxed chat even though the restaurant was busy. Love eating at the Hawksmoor and will be back again not just for the great food but for the welcome and service.

The restaurant was very busy , so there were delays with service . Although the website showed several menus , only one was available - the festive menu . Food was good and served hot. Would like some more interesting icecream flavours e.g. coffee and cardamom or brown bread . £140 for 2 . No starters , a main each , one side, a few scoops of ice cream , 2 coffees and a bottle of wine. Wine prices started about £48 per bottle.
